We’re gearing up for an exciting new school year at Linden Elementary! Here’s everything you need to know:

📅 Back to School Night – Monday, July 28th | 5:00–7:00 PM
Meet your child’s teacher, learn about the year ahead, and grab info on transportation, food services, PTO, and tax credit donations! 🌭 PTO will be serving up hot dogs, hamburgers, and snacks to raise money for school shirts for every student. Come hungry! 🍔🍟

🚌 Bus ID Required
All students must have a bus ID to ride the bus. IDs will be available at the Transportation Open House on July 28th from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

🎒 PowerSchool Enrollment
Make sure your child’s PowerSchool registration is complete—classroom assignments depend on it!

Don’t forget to stop by the Bus Barn that day to register your student and receive their bus card. If your student will ride the bus at any time this year, they MUST be registered and have a card. 🚌

Thank you so much to everyone who has completed registration and to those who have reached out for help—we appreciate you!

If you still need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact Mrs. Holyoak. She is more than happy to help.

Many of you have noticed that after submitting your student’s registration, the status shows “pending approval.” This is completely normal. Mrs. Holyoak is required to review and approve three forms for each student. Please be patient as she works through everyone’s submissions. If there are any issues with your registration, she will contact you directly.

As always, feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Thank you to those who have already completed the re-registration paperwork. If you haven’t yet submitted it, please do so as soon as possible. Without re-registration, we will be unable to assign your student to a teacher for the upcoming school year.

As some of you may have noticed, the District Office recently sent out an email regarding returning student registration. Please follow the instructions provided in that email to re-register your student for the upcoming school year.

This process is different from previous years, as we are no longer using Snapcodes.

If you do not already have a PowerSchool account for your student, please email Mrs. Holyoak at desirae.holyoak@showlow.education. She will respond with instructions on how to create an account and get your student set up once she returns to the office on Wednesday, July 2nd.

Second grade had a blast during Game Day this morning! 🎲🧩 From board games to card games, the room was filled with laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition. It was such a fun way to celebrate all the hard work our students have been doing.

Today was Extreme Green & Gold Day and our final PBIS assembly of the year—and what a celebration it was! We honored: • Our Principal of the Day • Students with Perfect Attendance for the entire year • Over 100 students who showed 100+ points of growth in IXL • 5K participants and top lap runners • Our Overall Cougars of the Year who consistently show what it means to be respectful, responsible, safe, and kind We also took a moment to let Mrs. Stabenow know how much we’re going to miss her—and we surprised our amazing staff with exclusive Linden shirts to thank them for being the heart of our campus. We are proud to say Linden represents Excellence in the White Mountains. If you give a Cougar a jump rope… he just might jump his way into the principal’s chair! Jensyn raised the most during our Jump Your Way to Principal for a Day fundraiser—and today he jumped into action, got his steps in, read the morning announcements, and helped prep for our big PBIS assembly! Of course, if you make Jensyn the principal, he’s going to want to visit kindergarten. And if he visits kindergarten, he’s definitely going to read them a story. And if he reads them a story… you better believe he’ll help act it out too. Way to lead with energy and heart, Jensyn! Yearbooks are here! This morning was filled with laughter, smiles, and lots of signatures as our entire school came together for a yearbook signing celebration! Students had a blast sharing memories and collecting messages from friends and staff. A huge thank you to our generous donors—each one is highlighted in this year’s book—for making it possible for every single student to receive a yearbook at no cost. 🎉 Final Staff Spotlight of the Year! 🌟 We’re ending the year with a bang by celebrating Sheri Ramirez as our last Staff Spotlight Winner of the school year! 🍎 Sheri is recognized for being helpful to anyone who needs it, for always making others smile, and for simply being all around amazing! Her kindness, support, and positive energy have made a lasting impact on our school community. Sheri will receive the coveted apple 🍏 once again and can visit Mrs. Holyoak’s office to pick out a well-deserved prize!
