Ms. McCraley's 3rd grade class used age appropriate videos to learn about the Constitution and the Preamble (PBS Kids, School House Rocks, Liberty Kids, and the Constitution for kids). They read We the Kids, by David Catrow. Then, they pretended to be a writer of the Preamble and wrote it in their best handwriting. They learned the importance of writing nicely, or no one would have been able to read the original Preamble and Constitution.
Mrs. Ramirez's Class Celebrates Constitution Day! 🇺🇸 Today, Mrs. Ramirez's class took part in some exciting activities to learn about the Constitution. They watched a PBS Kids video about the Constitution, made Founding Fathers hats, and even signed their very own class constitution! 🎩📜 What a fun and engaging way to learn about this important piece of history! #LindenElementary #ConstitutionDay #LearningThroughFun #FutureLeaders
Mrs. Podoll's Class Dives into the Constitution! 🇺🇸
Today, Mrs. Podoll's students worked on a variety of activities for Constitution Day, starting with The Story Behind the Constitution and comprehension questions. They read the Constitution, tackled true/false questions, wrote essays on what the Constitution means to them, and even completed a word search of the 39 signers.
When I visited, I was impressed to see students sharing amendments they were already familiar with. Amazing work, 5th graders! 👏📜

Happy Constitution Day from our 4th Graders! 🇺🇸
Today, our fourth-grade classes came together to read "We the Kids" by David Catrow, followed by a fun activity where they worked together to assemble the Preamble of the Constitution from a scramble. Teamwork and learning in action as they build a deeper understanding of the foundation of our country! 📚🇺🇸

Good afternoon, our health tech is looking for some help. When students have bathroom accidents at school we provide them with a clean change of cloths. To be able to do this we rely on donations. With that being said of you have any gently used sweatpants or legging that you would like to donate please drop them off in the office. If your child comes home with cloths provided by the health tech please wash and return them.
Save the date for our first Scholastic Book Fair of the year is Sept 23rd - 27th!
