📚✨ We are now accepting Open Enrollment and Kindergarten Registration for the 2026–2027 school year! ✨📚

If you or someone you know has a child who will be 5 years old before September 1st, don’t forget to get them registered for kindergarten! 🍎✏️

Good afternoon parents and guardians,

This is a friendly reminder to please log into your PowerSchool account and complete any forms that are marked “Not Completed.”

These forms need to be completed by mid-June so we can begin planning for next school year, including sorting students into classes and assigning teachers. Students will not be assigned a teacher until all required forms have been completed.

If you no longer live within the Linden boundaries but would like your student to continue attending Linden, you will also need to complete the Open Enrollment process. If you have already completed Open Enrollment, you do not need to complete it again.

When coming in to complete Open Enrollment paperwork, please bring proof of residency.

If you need assistance logging into PowerSchool or locating the forms, please do not hesitate to reach out. Mrs. Holyoak is available in the office Monday–Thursday from 8:00 AM–2:00 PM and would be happy to assist you.

Way to go, Kyla! 🎉🚲 Kyla’s name was drawn as the winner of a brand new bike and helmet from AzFBN + Health First Foundation! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Our students had the opportunity to participate in a coloring contest for a chance to win, and we are so excited for Kyla! Congratulations on your awesome new ride!

Don’t forget — Touch A Truck is TODAY from 12:30–2:00 PM! 🚚🚓🚒 Come hungry! Jo Jo’s Tacos will be on site selling their amazing tacos and will accept both cash and card. 🌮 Please do not park in the dirt loop. We will have emergency vehicles on campus for Touch A Truck, and if there is an emergency, they need to be able to leave campus quickly. If the parking lot is full, you are more than welcome to use the old bus loop for parking. We can’t wait to see everyone there!

👟Our fun run is THIS Thursday!👟 Please have your students wear pink, red, and white in support of this cause. Please make sure they wear comfortable shoes and sunscreen. We can't wait to see those who can attend. Please remember you have to stop by the office to check in before proceeding to the field.

🚛 Touch-A-Truck Event 🚒 Linden Elementary invites all parents and community members to join us for our Touch-A-Truck event on Monday, May 11th from 12:30–2:00 PM! Come explore a variety of vehicles, meet the people who operate them, and enjoy a fun, hands-on experience for all ages. 🌮 JoJo’s Tacos will also be on-site with delicious food available for purchase! 📍 Location: Linden Elementary ⏰ Time: 12:30–2:00 PM Please note: All adults attending will need to sign in at the front office upon arrival. 🏫 Staff Spotlight Winner! 🌟 This week we are honored to recognize Mrs. Alex Deitering, our incredible principal—for the second time this year! 👏👑 Mrs. Deitering has truly gone above and beyond this year, supporting not only our students but also our teachers every single day. She carries more responsibility than most people could ever imagine, yet continues to lead with strength, compassion, and dedication. She is a remarkable leader who shows genuine care for everyone in our building and works tirelessly to ensure that both students and staff have every opportunity to succeed.
