🌟 Staff Spotlight Winner! 🎉 This week, we are excited to shine the spotlight on Mrs. Cynthia Cody, one of our amazing 3rd grade teachers! 💛 Mrs. Cody is being recognized for being an incredible team player who is always willing to step in and help. She has been instrumental in getting the 3rd grade team started and organized, generously shares her specials times with others, and has even helped make sure the north-side pick-up line runs smoothly. Talk about someone who knows how to keep things moving! 👏 Her willingness to support her teammates and jump in wherever she is needed makes a huge difference in our school community. As this week's Staff Spotlight winner, Mrs. Cody will receive the Apple of Appreciation 🍏 and can stop by the office to pick out a well-deserved prize! 🎁 Thank you, Mrs. Cody, for being such a fantastic teammate and for all the ways you help make Linden a better place! 💛🐾

🌟 Staff Shout-Outs Are Back! 🎉🍎 A new school year means a fresh start, new adventures, and the return of one of our favorite traditions—Staff Shout-Outs! 💛 Throughout the year, we'll be celebrating the incredible people who make Linden such a special place to learn and work. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to recognize a colleague for going above and beyond. Keep those shout-outs coming—they truly make a difference! We're kicking off this year's Staff Spotlight with one of our amazing kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Deanna Miller! 🌟 Mrs. Miller has been recognized for being an incredible resource when it comes to technology. Whether it's helping with the internet, troubleshooting tech issues, or patiently explaining how to use document cameras, she's always willing to lend a hand. She also did a fantastic job organizing and coordinating this year's Kindergarten Round-Up, helping make it a welcoming and successful event for our newest Cougar families. Good Afternoon, Linden Families! 💚💛

We can't believe tomorrow is already the first day of school! We are so excited to welcome everyone back. Please take a moment to review these important reminders for drop-off and pick-up procedures.

Morning Drop-Off (7:00–7:30 AM)
For the first two days of school, parents are welcome to walk their students into the building.
If you plan to walk your students in, you must sign in and receive a visitor badge from the office. Please remember to bring a valid photo ID for check-in. Please park in the guest parking lot near the flagpole.
If you are simply dropping off your student, please use the north dirt drop-off loop.
Please do not park in the staff parking lot.

Afternoon Pick-Up: (2:25pm)
For the safety and efficiency of dismissal, please do not park and walk up to pick up your student.

Students with last names A–K will be picked up in the old bus loop off Highway 260.
Students with last names L–Z will be picked up in the north dirt loop.

At both pick-up locations, students will remain seated safely inside the gate until a staff member comes to your vehicle, asks for your student's name, and calls them to the designated pick-up area.

Please display patience and kindness during the first few weeks of school as our students, families, and staff settle into our new routines. We will also have construction on campus during the first few days of school, which may cause additional traffic delays.

Thank you for helping us keep our students safe and for making dismissal run as smoothly as possible. We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow and kick off an amazing school year!

🎉 Tonight’s the Night, Linden Families! 🐾💚💛 We can’t wait to welcome everyone to our Open House & Meet the Teacher Night tonight, Monday, August 3rd, from 5:00–7:00 PM! 🍔 Come hungry! Our amazing PTO will be serving hamburgers and hot dogs, with all proceeds going toward providing every Linden student with a spirit shirt this school year. 🚌 Have transportation questions? Our Transportation Department will be on-site to help with bus routes and other busing questions. 🍎 Need help with school meals? Food Services staff will also be available to answer questions about meal programs and food services. This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, see the classroom, connect with staff, and get ready for an amazing school year. We hope to see all of our Linden families tonight. Good afternoon, Linden Families! Please be aware that the Linden Elementary building will be closed Tuesday, July 21st through Friday, July 24th while we complete building upgrades and improvements. During this time, the office will not be open for in-person visits. However, Mrs. Holyoak will be available by phone and email Tuesday July 21st to answer questions, assist with enrollment, and provide any support you may need. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve our school. We look forward to seeing everyone soon!

If you haven't already done so, please log in to your PowerSchool account and complete the enrollment forms for the upcoming school year.

If you need assistance accessing your account or locating the forms, please don't hesitate to reach out. Mrs. Holyoak is available in the office Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and would be happy to assist you.

Additionally, if your student will not be returning next school year and you have not yet notified the office, please do so as soon as possible. If you have already informed the school, please disregard this portion of the message.

Please note that all summer withdrawals will officially take effect on July 1st.

Attached are the school supply lists for the upcoming school year to help you get a head start on back-to-school shopping.
